I grew up in a small town in Texas named Cisco. Those of you that have driven on I-20 have passed through it and probably saw it if you didn't blink.
I was a little further removed from town because we lived at the lake for most of my life in Cisco. The best memories of my childhood take place living there with my mom, little brother, and step dad. My dad passed away from cancer when I was about 6 years old. I went to school and later graduated highschool from Cisco.
College usually comes next, but I decided a job was more important and began to explore that path of life. Then lightening struck twice and my mom passed away. Her death marked the beginning of a lot of life changes. It spurred me on to start actually living.
I started my photography business, Seay Clearly Photography, that same year, 2010. A few years later I found a partner for life, became pregnant and gave birth to a beautiful little girl. All of these life choices led me back to school and I am currently a student at the University of Texas in Austin working on my bachelor's degree. Losing my mom and dad were awful and I wish that pain on no one, but I wouldn't be the person I am today without those experiences.
Life is a series of moments and everyday experiences. My intention is to capture all of it for you. The losses I have experienced fueled my need for images and storytelling. There is magic in the everyday and in the big moments you can share with your friends an family for years to come.
Shoot me a message... Let me help photograph your story.
I travel all over the US and currently live in Austin, Texas.
